> What does chasing rabbits mean?
> What is a Blog?
According to www. blogger.com "a blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world. Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules."

The term “chasing rabbits” simply means going off on a tangent. It’s not unusual for a student to ask an instructor about a subject that has nothing to do with the lecture, and if you strike gold, the old coot tells you everything he or she knows about the topic and forgets what’s supposed to be covered. That's chasing a rabbit.

> What topics will be discussed on this blog?
Keeping with the idea of chasing rabbits, I will let you help choose the topics. Send me ideas. I may not use your suggestion. Remember--it is my blog; however, I will not shy away from some difficult topics. We can discuss social, political, or campus issues. We may not discuss your suggested topic immediately. I may need time to research it. I hope to be able to give you some real information as well as my opinion. I do not mind if you disagree with me, if you don't mind if I disagree with you.

The intended audience is the Panola College Family, but ideas from outside the family may be interesting. Most of my discussion, I hope, will interest and benefit Panola College students.> Rabbit chasing laws
